Head Coach

Joseph is from Clarksville, Tennessee and attended the University of Cincinnati where he studied International business and received an Asian Studies Minor. He is also a former member of The University of Cincinnati Dance Team. During his time at UC, Joseph spent his summers instructing thousands of both high school and college athletes as a member of UDA Staff. He also contributes to their UDA staff curriculum annually which is taught at every camp in the nation. Post-grad, Joseph went on to gain experience as a judge nationally and internationally in Puerto Rico. He also works as a choreographer for high school athletes, Harvard University, and internationally in Austria.

Our captains oversee the overall operation of the team, including scheduling practices and events, managing communication, maintaining organization and documentation, and coordinating logistics for camps, travel, and Nationals. They also plan and lead practices, set goals, clean formations, manage performance details, and ensure a focused, productive team environment.

In addition, they support the team culture and internal relations through team building, discipline management, and individual communication. They assist with finances, fundraising, uniforms and costumes, while also helping manage recruiting, public relations, alumni and parent communication, social media, and community performance opportunities.

Officers

Payton Anderson

Our Finance Officer leads the Finance Core by setting expectations, educating members, managing calendars, and guiding officers on financial procedures. They develop and maintain the team budget, prepare biannual financial statements, oversee spending, and help organize all financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and contracts. They also research ways to reduce costs for camps, competitions, and team equipment.

They manage all money collection and deposits for team fees, apparel, equipment, and fundraisers, tracking and reporting amounts accurately. They coordinate financial transactions including vendor set-ups, invoices, and Buyway requests, ensuring all spending is approved, documented, and reconciled according to the budget.

Finance Officer

Our PR Officer leads the Public Relations core by setting expectations and delegating tasks. They manage newsletters, press releases, and recruit communications, while updating the team’s HUB, and databases. They also coordinate campus and off-campus performances, community events, and collaborations with other organizations. Additionally, they track and create workouts for the team to ensure consistent training and performance readiness.

They maintain alumni and recruit databases, plan Alumni Weekend events, and manage historical records for the team. They communicate with parents, alumni, sponsors, and prospective dancers, and coordinate team involvement in supporting other campus organizations.

Public Relations Officers

Our Fundraising Officer leads the Fundraising Core by setting expectations, delegating tasks, managing calendars, and communicating all fundraising activities to the team. They prepare and maintain fundraising documents and goals, including letters, trackers, and schedules, and ensure the team is informed about upcoming events and requirements.

They plan and coordinate recruitment clinics plan campus and community fundraisers, and work with local businesses, the Club Sports Department, and marketing/PR officers to promote events. They track participation, assign team members to events, and manage logistics to make sure everyone knows when to arrive, what to do, and what to wear.

Fundraising Officer

Our Marketing Officer leads the Marketing Core by guiding members and managing calendars. They create an organized social media schedule, design recruitment materials, and develop incentives to attract new members while promoting team events like tryouts, games, and send-offs.

They manage all social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, as well as the team website, keeping content up to date with photos, videos, schedules, and accomplishments. They also design and order non-performance apparel, such as event and fan t-shirts, coordinate promotional materials for fairs and recruitment events, and organize team photoshoots while collaborating with external photographers and videographers.

Marketing Officer

Our programming officers provide leadership and organization for the team by setting expectations and deadlines for core members, outlining individual responsibilities, and managing timelines. They design and coordinate team apparel and game tops, research and plan costumes, hair, makeup, and accessories, and oversee all Nationals preparation including registration, travel, attire, choreographer communication and overall look.

Together, theymanage Nationals logistics and team resources by coordinating travel, transportation, meals, and required documentation, and maintaining detailed records for all members. They also oversee costume and apparel inventory, organize and collect uniforms, handle resale of used costumes, and order team gear such as warm-ups, bags, shoes, and accessories as needed throughout the year.
