COMMON RECRUITING VIDEO ACCEPTED --

Thank you for your interest in the Miami University Dance Team (MUDT)! We are thrilled to announce that we will be accepting the Common Recruiting Video for the upcoming 2027–2028 season as part of our hybrid recruitment model.

Recruitment Overview: MUDT has transitioned to a Hybrid Recruitment Process, offering both video submissions and traditional in-person tryouts. While each prospective recruit may experience a slightly different journey through the process, the following information outlines the general timeline and expectations for the Class of 2027. Further details will be shared with candidates as the process progresses.

Common Recruiting Video: We strongly encourage all interested dancers to take advantage of our video recruitment model. Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and offers may be extended by our Coach, Captains, and Officers accordingly. Submissions received by either deadline will be given full consideration.

Priority Deadline:

September 1, 2026

Final Deadline:

January 1, 2027

In-Person Tryouts: Following two rounds of video submissions, we will continue to offer in-person tryouts in the Spring of 2027. The tryout process will consist of:

Round 1: Common Recruiting Video

Round 2: Another video submission with MUDT specific requirements

Round 3: In-Person Tryouts

Important Notes for Prospective MUDT Members
